| The 6th grade students are currently creating stamps based on Adinkra symbols. The students learned about ancient West African tribes and modern countries Sierra Leone and Ghana. We also studied different Adinkra symbols and cloth. The students then created two stamps influenced by Adinkra symbols. One stamp is to represent a trait that express who they are now, the other is to represent a trait that they wish to have in the future. Each student then creates a pattern and print it on their selected cloth. Check back soon to see student examples. |
