The first day of school the students learned about Artist Armor. Artist Armor is put on before we come to art to help us succeed. It is made up of the following elements: 1. Thinking Cap to help us make good choices, 2. Goggles to help us focus, 3. Ear Piece to help us follow directions, 4. Chest Plate to help us respect, 5. Gloves to help us keep our hands to ourselves, 6. Weapons of Creativity to help us try our very best. Each student created a self-portrait wearing their imagined Artist Armor. Below is my classroom display, teacher example, and K-2 student examples. |
