This is part 2 of a homeschool lesson on tint, shade, and value. The ages range from 5-12. After creating the Tint and Shade Winter Sky painting we used our new color mixing abilities to create snowmen with value. These turned out great!
Today I taught 8 homeschool students ranging from ages 5-12. We started by learning about tints and shades. We created a sky using blue paint and mixing it with white to make tints, and then black to make shades. We then added silhouettes of tree branches to make it more interesting.
