| 2nd grade students did a unit on printmaking. We drew a design on a square piece of Styrofoam cut from a plate. We then drew a design in marker, and then traced it with a sharp pencil to indent into the Styrofoam. Student then applied tempera paint to the plate, put a piece of paper on their plate, and applied pressure. The students did this at least 4 times to create an piece of 4 prints to create radial symmetry. |
